What is the referral program all about?​
The referral program provides an opportunity to earn money by inviting friends and family to ChatLLM Teams. You can earn up to $10.00 for each new user who signs up using your unique referral URL, depending on your referral tier.
How much do I earn per referral?​
Referral payouts depend on your referral tier. Your tier is based on the number of paid referrals you have made in the last 90 days (a rolling window):

On top of your tier payout:

- Standard referrers earn $3.50 when a referred user signs up for a paid plan. Once you have accumulated at least $25 in referral earnings over the last 90 days, this increases to $5.00 per referred user.
- Gold referrers (100+ paid referrals in the last 90 days) earn $7.50 per referred user.
- Platinum referrers (500+ paid referrals in the last 90 days) earn $10.00 per referred user. Promotion from Gold to Platinum is based on the number of paid referrals and the quality of those referrals, as judged by Abacus AI.
- You earn an additional $5.00 if the referred user later upgrades to the Pro plan, regardless of your tier.
- Because the window is rolling, you need to keep referring to keep your tier. If your paid referrals in the last 90 days drop below a tier's threshold, you move to the tier that matches your current count.
- Tiers are reviewed regularly. We reserve the right to move any account back to Standard, or to hold an account at its current tier, at our discretion (for example, in cases of refunds, chargebacks, abuse or low-quality referrals). Such decisions are recorded on the account and are not undone automatically by the rolling window.
What is the difference between referring someone and inviting someone?​
When you invite someone to your team, they become part of your organization. You can share any ChatLLM applications you build, control their access, and even share chats among team members in the organization. Additionally, the admin will be responsible for the organization's billing which is determined by the number of members in the organization.
On the other hand, referring someone means that the referred individual will have to create their own account and will not be part of your organization. You and the referred user will operate as two separate entities, completely independent from each other.
Will I earn money if I invite someone to my team?​
Unlike referrals, no money will be earned if you invite someone into your organization.
How do I refer someone?​
Please use your unique referral URL available at https://apps.abacus.ai/chatllm/admin/referrals/ to refer friends. You can also enter their email address and we will send them an invite with your unique referral URL.
When and how do I get paid?​
You get paid when a new user signs up using your referral URL. You can choose to receive your payment through either PayPal or Stripe. You can track all your referrals at https://apps.abacus.ai/chatllm/admin/referrals/.
Why is my cashout option grayed out?​
Your cashout option is only grayed out when you have $0 available balance. There is no minimum balance requirement and no country restriction — as soon as your available balance is greater than $0, you can cash out, no matter which country you are in.
What do the different referral statuses mean?​
Your referral payments might have the following statuses:
Available: This status indicates that your referral has signed up and the money is available for cashout.
Redeeming: This state indicates that you have requested a cash out of your available balance but the payment is not yet completed. It shouldn't be in this state for more than a few hours.
Redeemed: This indicates that you have successfully cashed out the referral credit.
How much will I earn if I refer a new user who invites more people to their organization?​
You will earn the applicable referral payout for each new user you refer, regardless of the number of people they subsequently invite to their organization.
Is there a limit on the number of users I can refer?​
No, there is no limit on the number of users you can refer.
